Following on from the recently shared offering ‘Closed My Eyes’, ‘Beating Heart’ marks Promise And The Monsters (aka Billie Lindahls) sophomore release through new label Icons Creating Evil Art, and continues that smooth and lofty aesthetic that she is known for. Breathing an effortlessly warm and enticing atmosphere into this new work, her latest delight shows us that she is currently creating some of her most breathtaking material to date.

Speaking about the new single, Billie said, "Beating Heart is about two sisters watching each others back through adulthood. One of them is more reckless though so the other one has a lot to do. It was fun recording the song since it got bigger and bigger all the time, like a suitcase full of random stuff."

While adding about the forthcoming new video, "The video is directed by the fantastic animator Cissi Efraimsson, she made two bald, wide smiling sisters travelling to meet each other, dancing together in a velvet palace."
